James F. Whalen
Chief Executive Officer
Jim started working with Investment Properties, Inc. in 1986 and took over as the sole proprietor of the firm in 1997. He has direct experience in the development of office, industrial and retail properties and has personally developed over 1 million square feet of space including three (3) Class A office buildings in Montgomery County, MD, (7) high bay industrial buildings in Montgomery County, (2) in Howard County, (2) multifamily residential properties in Montgomery County and Baltimore City, and various other properties in the DC Metro Area. His experience encompasses all aspects of the development, financing, management, operation and the marketing of commercial properties. Jim is the Chairman of the Board of Capital Bank N/A, a National Bank Headquartered in the Washington, DC and Baltimore Areas. He also is a Trustee on the Board of Trustees of St. Johns Episcopal School. Jim is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and he is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Maryland and Washington, D.C.

Jason R. Pepin
President
Jason joined Investment Properties, Inc. in 2016 with over 20 years of commercial real estate and construction management experience. As President, he oversees the overall operations of the company, including property management, leasing, construction management, business development and financial aspects of the company. Prior to joining Investment Properties, he was with Avison Young, Washington, D.C., LLC and James G. Davis Construction Corporation. He is a seasoned professional in the management of commercial property in the Washington, D.C. region.

Bruce A. Stotka, CPA
Controller and Chief Financial Officer
Bruce joined Investment Properties, Inc. in 2011 with approximately 24 years of experience in real estate and accounting. Bruce is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a graduate of Waynesburg College. Bruce is responsible for all financial activities of Investment Properties, Inc. including monthly investor reporting, lender reporting, tax preparation, owner level accounting and cash management.
